The Lenten Lectio 2025: Day 39

On Day 39 of our Lenten Lectio Divina journey, we turn to Luke 23:44-46, where Jesus breathes His last and says, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” In this moment of surrender, we see the fullness of Jesus’ trust in the Father—even in death. As we meditate today, may we ask: What is Jesus inviting us to entrust into God’s hands? Where is He calling us to let go and rest in the Father’s love? Let’s listen, surrender, and draw near to the mystery of the cross.
